Welcome to the official website of the WRO® International Final 2026. Puerto Rico is proud to host thousands of young innovators, coaches, judges, partners, and guests from around the World at one of the most important global STEM education events.

World Robot Olympiad is a global robotics competition that helps young people develop creativity, problem‑solving and STEM skills in a fun and engaging way. Each season, teams from more than 100 countries design, build and program robots to solve challenges connected to a yearly theme, culminating in the WRO International Final.

The WRO 2026 theme: Robots Meet Culture

In 2026, the WRO International Final comes to San Juan, Puerto Rico, bringing together national champion teams, industry leaders and education partners under the theme Robots Meet Culture. Teams will explore how robots can help shape, protect, and grow art and culture in today’s world.

From ancient cave paintings to modern digital art, from fashion to architecture, people have always used creativity to tell stories, preserve traditions, and inspire change. And robots are becoming creative partners and protectors of our cultural history.

They can bring old art back to life, help create new and exciting forms of art and make cultural treasures easier to access for people everywhere. Robots can also help communities share their stories in new and powerful ways. When Robots Meet Culture endless possibilities arise!
